"Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh." -- Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Obviously our lives are not completely defined by our work experiences alone. Most of us will even filter our past work histories on our resumes, focusing solely on the type or genre of work we're currently searching for; leaving out segments of our prior experiences. Below you will find some of the information which could rightly be labeled the crumbs that were left off of my resume for various reasons.

Extraneous Work Experience
Assorted skills I have used over the course of my 20 plus years working in various industries:
  • forklift certification (warehouse, dock work)
  • hydraulic crane (fishing trawlers)
  • small-craft marine vessel operation (salmon farm)
  • telephone surveyor (political)
  • third class radio operators permit (SSB/UHF/VHF)
Hobbies/Areas of Interest
What do I do when I'm not working? Glad you asked.
  • billiards (8-ball, 9-ball)
  • card collecting (since I was 13)
  • gaming (board games, computer/video games)
  • genealogy/family history (www.chittick.com)
  • golf (no matter how frustrating)
  • skiing (not snow boarding, no matter how uncool nowadays)
  • writing (fiction, politics, satire)
