Thank you much to the many elves
And the gentle tooth extractor,
But I must register a small complaint
About a very minor factor

When congratulating and giving toast
To the old couple, 40 years survived,
And giving a thoughtful gift to both
Thinking neither should be deprived

Now I realize I shouldn't have bitched,
And you'd really be shocked
If my persona had switched

I know you all intended well,
But, hey guys.... oh, what the hell,
I don't drink White Zinfandel!
